Since 2015 and following the successful tests in Cork harbour, SEA-Tech is developping INSTANTWAVE, an open source wave modelling system based on real time data similar to weather modelling which helps predicting weather and sea conditions based on multiple parameters.

Navigation lighthouses, which once used to help with vessel positioning, have lost their purpose. Electronic Chart Display System (ECDS for short) has replaced them. Yet they offer a certain strategic advantage and it would be ludicrous to abandon them like it is already the case in many countries. SEA-Tech has built a unique expertise in turning lighthouses into data-lighthouse.
